Influencers: Not a Bad Word

Corruption is a terrible thing. Not only because it is generally distasteful but because it implicitly corresponds to suboptimal quality particularly when it comes to something as impactful as C&I. After all, if an organization which is less effective than another is able to achieve any sort of ill-gotten advantage then not only does the competing company suffer, but so too does the greater community. The essence of C&I is the strengthening of community through the public-private partnership - that is why C&I exists. That’s why I think it is so critical for us all to take a stand against any policy that does not produce the desired outcome and economic benefit as contemplated, and programs which fail to achieve desired goals should either be rearchitected or shut down. Take this concept a step further - gov can create levers to protect taxpayers from obligations not met, and create guidelines to remedy malfeasance.
