Incentify Closes $9.5M Series A Funding Round Led by Innovent Capital Group
New capital accelerates AI-driven tax credit and incentive platform growth, strengthens proprietary data capabilities, and expands key strategic partnerships
LOS ANGELES, April 2, 2025 – Incentify, the leading AI-powered platform for discovering and managing tax credits and incentives (C&I), today announced the close of its $9.5 million Series A funding round.
The round was led by Innovent Capital Group, with participation from Ryan LLC, Gary Gilbert (co-founder of Rocket Mortgage and co-owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers) and others. The investment will drive expansion of Incentify’s products, including Incentify Explore, the industry’s first AI-native C&I discovery engine that allows businesses to identify credits and incentives across federal, state, and local levels using Incentify’s proprietary data set.
The funding will also fuel continued advancement of Incentify’s AI infrastructure, international and domestic data acquisition, strategic partnership execution, and an expanded go-to-market motion, including targeted sales and marketing efforts. The company plans to double its workforce in 2025 to meet growing demand.
Incentify already counts leading global organizations among its partners and clients, including Amazon, Kroger, Cargill, Tyson, Sony Pictures and Paramount Studios as well as thousands of small and medium sized businesses. With this investment, the company continues to redefine what’s possible in the C&I space.
"Our long-term vision is to be the complete operating system of the C&I economy. This funding provides businesses and customers with more data, improved AI automation, increased visibility real-time insights, and more dollars realized,” said Laurence Sotsky, CEO of Incentify.“ These improvements and advancements will ensure that incentive discovery, application, compliance, and reporting are effortless and accessible, no matter the complexity, jurisdiction, industry, or size of the business. We are extremely grateful to our new investors and intend to deliver incredible results to our customers and to them.”
Traditionally, the C&I landscape has been plagued by friction, opacity, and underutilization—leaving up to $1.2 trillion in available incentives untapped by corporations. Incentify is transforming this reality with a platform built from the ground up to streamline and scale C&I discovery and execution. With Incentify Explore, users can upload a single address—or their full corporate portfolio—and instantly surface tailored incentives by eligibility, strategic use case (e.g., carryforward periods, recapture clauses), or keyword. The AI-driven system delivers unmatched precision by mapping incentives down to the street level and notifying users of real-time legislative updates.
“Incentify has demonstrated an ability to serve some of the biggest and most complex companies in the world with their core C&I technology. The recent addition of their AI-powered product, “Explore” looks to take the company to the next level. What's been most impressive is that the company has demonstrated the capacity to drive real results in an extremely underserved market very quickly,” said Brett Markinson, CEO and Founder, Innovent Capital Group. “We are incredibly impressed by their traction from some of the largest enterprises and advisory firms in the market.”
This milestone further positions Incentify as the category leader in AI-powered C&I technology, unlocking unprecedented value and access for companies and advisors navigating the complex world of tax incentives.
