Frontend Engineer

Full Time, Los Angeles, CA (El Segundo)

We are looking for a talented, critical thinking frontend developer with experience in developing both (a) modern SPA web applications (React, etc) AND working within traditional web applications (JS, HTML, CSS).

The position requires you to join our hybrid work environment - our team comes to our El Segundo office twice per week (Tues/Thurs).

Key Skills

  • Work on TWO web applications:

    • Web App 1: React, Tailwind/MUI, GraphQL (Apollo.js)

    • Web App 2:  Vanilla Javascript, jQuery, HTML, CSS

  • Work as part of a small scrum team where your collaboration/participation is impactful

  • Take part in our agile process (2 week sprints) and meeting schedule (stand ups on Slack, planning, retros, etc)

  • Take responsibility for updating the status of Jira tickets, sizing and time tracking

  • Work closely with designers and front end developers on our other scrum

  • Maintain security best practices for web applications (such as OWASP)
